Tricia is a third-generation family married-in of Vermeer Corporation, a global manufacturer of industrial and agricultural equipment. Tricia serves as a member of the Ownership Council. 

Tricia Vermeer is also the Executive Director of the Vermeer Charitable Foundation which is founded out of a deep sense of responsibility to God for the gifts He had given, and a desire for continued stewardship of those resources. Two generations of family members currently serve on the Vermeer Charitable Foundation, Tricia being a third-generation member. 

Prior to joining Vermeer Charitable Foundation, Tricia worked as a teacher, substitute and volunteer in Sunnyside, Washington, Des Moines, Iowa, and Pella, Iowa. Tricia currently serves as the Chair of the Board of Trustees at Northwestern College, Orange City, Iowa. She also serves on the Pella Community Foundation Board of Directors. 

Tricia graduated from Northwestern College with a Bachelor of Science degree in elementary education. Tricia and her husband, Dan, live in the Pella area and have four adult children and a daughter-in-law.
